Off day siaaaaa

WEdnesday
i worked 9-12pm and Pris picked me up to head down to SCC to meet chai for a late dinnner while we were wwaiting for Gina to finish her concert at the esplanade.
we were watching the mexico vs portugal match and it was my first time watchin it on a projector and it felt bettter seeing so much greeeeen and men running around on a projector screeen compared to a plasma. so why r people so hungup on plasmas??
i wld love to have a huge projector anytime in my room. : )

gina was done and my CHICKEN PIE which tasted like quiche was not served after waiting for lke half an hour, i swear the chef was probably too distracted watchin the soccer match or something. so poor gina babe walked over with ang and when we were leaving... hehehe Ang was so valiant to carrry her across the field cos u know how girls r so freakin scared of the field especially at night..while i had to scream my head off while tottering on my heeels tryin to catch up with pris n chai... picked Mery up across the youth park and we headed off for Zouk.

my my my, its beeen foreverrr since the 3 of us went down on ladies night..and we had the company of ms Mery Perry too.
the boys got off @ the carpark and it was just the 4 of us crazy ones. we went in thru as the bouncer's guests, come on, how can he say no to 4 pretty girls right?? glugged glugged glugged... danced danced danced at phuture.. camera whored in the toilet and we settled for drinks at winebar...
i didnt bring my cellfne along cos i was wearin a dress(no pocket) and left it in pris's car..so the pics r with mery n gina babe

sent pris home and then we cabbed mery home n back to serangoon : )
we left quite early but we bumped into so many familair faces ..the ever so dimpled adrian chia appeared and i saw him n his usual bunch again.. always nice to see him cos it's so seldom that our paths cross..

Thursday: OFFDAY

went to pick my gd ol' ah mah for lunch with my mom n dad. she celebrated her bday at home on saturday but i was workin so this was kinda like a make up.


It' was the first time my daddy stepped out of the house to have lunch and him being the ah peh wannabe alwasy insists on bringing his own tea.



i passsed my grandma the sea cucumber cos she loves it.. so whats left was this....
funny this was what my daddy had before he went in for the op and after being discharged we're back at the same place...
V3x has this "internal view" function which u can self take pics right.. BUT the quality is compromised the size of the pic is smaller and the quality not as gd.. WHY motorola?WHY? couldnt u figure out a way to have it good for both ways??? dammit. so use it as a mirror while the fone is flipped open..
after lunch brought grandma to Hollywood Secrets at Paragon for a manicure while i had my hair cut.
YES i went for another haircut and guess what/
he did an AMAZINg job : )
okay everybody come to hollywoodsecrets to your hair.
i had IMpeccable service fromthe hairstylists. kenneth cut my hair n he did a damn gd job : ) THANK U kenneth i sweared i cld scream n hug him cos FINALLY a hairstylist WHO UNDerstands english AND gave me what i wanted...it was just a simple side fringe... so i got a simple side fringe added unto the many layers which he tried to cut as far as my round head cld take...
im gonna go back to him..
they asked my grandma to sit next to me and the manicurist brought her whole kit and towels to accomodate my grandma... it's not difficult but i appreciate the gesture so much. my granny probably felt like a vip.
u shld see her pickin the colours, cannot be too red cannot be too dark... so we settled for a two tone cream colour that has a gold sheeen on it.



she was smiling from time to time. they even brought the nail dryer unto her lap! : )



the aftermath: these hands of my 76 yr old ah mah brought up 9 children...

i love her so much.
she said it was her first time gettin her nails down at a shop, i asked her whether she likes it n she said yes.. : ) now i know how to score more brownie points hahahaa : )
