the bumps are still there..they look like geography to me, i can see my green veins and the bumps are linearly aligned along the veins. little houses with scores of germs living inside or something. my entire left thigh. this means im allergic to the uniform they passed to me?
im just applyin antiseptic cream for the time being.
if im disfugured for life , that wld mean i will not be able to step unto the beach without silly inhibitions.
i better not be disfigured for life.
i wanted to get an mc but my aunt tells me that if i take mc for this week, and the store hits the weekly target i wldnt be able to get my share of the commission.
its my first week so im assigned 6 days of no rest 12-9pm shift AND If i actually get my MC i must be out of mind to just throw away the crazy hours of standing. soi'll bear with the uglyness, at least it's not itchy. sigh.
a vietnamese lady from the previous day who looks like an indon tai tai came back to the shop to buy more stuff. she doesnt know a word of english except " no", "yes" & "discount".
she was movin from baju to watches to sunglassses and she got me at the sunnies section.
she adored the attention showered while i was takin out sunglasses and my colleague was putting on for her the latest bracelet watch which we have for ladies. (the silver cuff with GG embossed all over with the reversible watch face)
she asked " discount?"
we said no and she asked for the watch to be taken off.
she had a 12 year old daughter on standby to translate english to vietnamese for her.
another customer sat next to her n tried on a pair and immediately she pointed out she wanted the same pair as well. so she got the same pair but at a different colour becos the other lady wanted a white one which was the display piece. the lady goes " i want to speak to ur manager, i want a discount becos i am not willin to pay a full price for a display piece"
n my manager pops by and the viet lady starts checking out her glasses and points out a lil white spot near the handle.
n she goes "tsk tsk tsk"
"discount?"
i take the shades from her n true enough i cldnt wipe off the stain so i asked my manager to which my manager did not want to give bOTH ladies a discount becos gucci isnt some pasar malam where u can get discount as or when, we try not to sell defected items u see, we'll rather get a new piece from the other outlets and make it a win-win situation.
unhappy that she has to wait for 20 mins for her new shades, she chooses the previous piece which she tried on and says she's okaay with payin full price for it .
then came another problem. she didnt want the soft covers we have for the shades, she wanted the hard cover magnetic flip oblong box and i had to search hi and low for it.
i got fed up and showed her the entire carton to prove my point that there really isnt any more boxes for her huge ass shades.
she takes out her own pair of gucci shades+box+the cloth inside.
we had the micro- cleaning lens cloth with the word :gucci embossed on it and she refuses to have it. "tsk tsk tsk(+ shakin head action)"she wanted me to get her a suede piece instead. so there she was soooo picky.
and before paying she started having second thoughts and she asked her daughter whetherthe shades looked too big on her . AND she made me try it on. hahaha i felt like a dork cos SHE LAUghed at m e. hmph. so shy hahaaha.
but she was a joy to serve la.. cute n picky n the endless "tsk tsk tsk"
it was after 9 and we locked the glass doors but a couple was standing outside saying they wish to get something so my colleague let them in... it was a very pretty & elegant woman with shoulder length blown curls + her bespectacled husband who was possibly 6-8 years older?
she comes in asking me where were the shades on discount so i showed the whole rack of it. i asked her to take a seat and take her time to try. every piece went on her face, then it went up unto her head. her husband was amused he was like " shades r for ur eyes not for ur hair "
" you don;t know la, girls are different , it must look nice on my head tooo"
she tries on the bling ass " gucci " word lined with swarovski crystals n he says " noo noo, they loook tooo cheaap"
and i said " but nothing on her would look cheap"
to which she was like " oooh true true hehehe" she giggled at her reflection for every piece that she fashioned in front of the mirror.
she was considering 3 pairs and her husband narrowed it down to just 2.
n she just kept on tryin until she settled for a brown pair which suited her so perfectly.
he said to me " i never buy things unless i have a gd reason"
" reason? havee!! You Love me right? isnt that a gd reason?" she exclaimed in a singsong manner.
i was caught between them, i was so amused i laughed aloud.
he was so sweet and tender and she was so happy n bubbbly bubbly, i actually felt old n jaded and of cos super extra.
she struck me as the kind of lady who had the x factor. i never understood the x factor bit but she seemed to have it all.
smart witty n elegant.
how nice.
they gave me a huge peek of what marriage life wld seem like.
damn sweet.
i came home n saw my car.
somehow when something is taken away from you even if it's just for the time being, it just doesnt feel like it belongs to u anymore.
i guess that goes the same for relationships.
gd night till the next 24 hrs.
xoxoxo
