then i got Ling's Image contact thru Kiat and they printed 50 copies within a day!!!
I WAS FRICKIN DRENCHED IN THE RAIn cos north bridge centre didnt have a carpark n i illegal parked in the open. didnt matter whether i had an umbrella or a car.. i was SOAKED mercilessly by the RAIN. i had to turn the heater on in my car cos i was FREEZIN and i was scared my wet skirt wld get me weird stares when i hit the shops.

I bought 11metres of lace with the intention to decorate the card with a black lacey ribbon..and 11 metres is only enough to tie 24 of them. shucks mann. so the rest dun look so special anymore... im gonna give them to my DIP group mates.
sigh. came home at 10 n only finished at 12ish and i was a lil sad to find out the ribbons werent enough n there's no time anyway : ) teehee so DEAL with it ; P

I went scouting for a red dress this afternoon at raffles city shoppin centre..saw many other colours but not the right red dress. red dresses are either too PROMIfed or too ah mah.
met gina up at citylink and we tried out the new NEWYORK NEWYORK cafe.

YEURGH. the burger was like crap. the ariabatta penne with giant meatballs was oookay the mushroom cappucino soup ws fine. dats all we had : )
walked her back to esplanade(where she so belongs)

TRY SAYING IT

then i met Dad n Mom at the place of my party and i tried 3 martinis. chocolate martini/strawberry martini and holy crap TOMYAM martini. like spicy athentic tomyam martini. it has an accquired taste . choc martini was LIKE OMGDNESSSOYUMMMYLICIOUS.
yeaah so we'll be havin welcome drinks and its not cheap la. im upset that they cldnt give me a better price but oh well.. i cld Bring my own liquor too and the corkage charges are very exclusive as well but it's a party n my dad was very very sweet about the whole thing.
we got a suite as well : )

so we FINALLY settled the whole rah rah affair and i went to school for tutorial.
n i kept thinkin abt my dress the whole day.

after class,
walked stamford hse, marina square, raffles city plus i spent sunday walkin the whole of town
it was pretty tough.
BUT
we found it in a corner shop called Lure
its not a specTAcular manifique dress but to me it was the BEST choice , within mybudget , wasnt too miss universe pageant-like,
since i'm askin everyone to come in red , it was only right i turn up in red too... : )
red is NOT my colour i look best in black/white bUTthe point is i didnt look too shabby in it.
n i can wear it again for other events..
omgdness mr daniel tan decides to pay half for me as my bday gift : )

isnt it just such a nice gesture to have someone to contribute in ur dress??
its like somebody asks u out for dinner n he buys u a pretty dress to wear.
