I’m BACK!
I got home only at 3am sunday night cos the flight was delayed,
Goin to hk n back was quite a thrill
The shops there r hugeeeee and amazinnng and so many times better than Singapore… I felt like I was in a huge city as compared to small “town” Singapore hehe
or maybe it was an oversized chinatown
hmm cant makeup my mind
The weather was soo good, not as humid & I had damn gd hair days over there,
unlike singy where my hair will prolly go back to crazy mode after mid noon,
it’s the weather la,
no wonder we always have to fuss over our hair here n go for stylin aids at the saloon.

this is the ENTire travel log
Friday mOrnin, i cabbed to T1 and had the worse jollybean pancakes ever, bought myself a mag and boarded the plane.
jet star wasn't as bad as airasia, the seats were leather upholstered and it was just a smaller version of a normal plane
The flight was pleasant I watchedthe sun rise on the plane and it was one of those moments where i'm just glad i'm alive.
made my heart n nano do flips n cartwheels.
the clouds werepillowy and cotton candy -like.
it's as if we were sailing across continents of clouds
it's so nice to be upsoo high and all i could see was endless blue andwhite.

i actually met someone on the plane, he borrowed my pen and yadayada
(yes he's damn super tall but im not jinxing it)
arrived in hkg and all i wanted to do was to RUN n see where gina was standing but i was held up by the impossibly long queue at the immigration counter
spotted my unmistakable tiny orange suitcase and OFF i was
we took the airport express to HongKOng island and we went underwater thrice
and we cabbed from IFC (this super hugeee shoppin centre) to gina's place

the fringe use to be an old warehouse or an old icehouse where they stored ice for the rich
now the structure is still preserved and it's a lovely place where little dramas/plays art exhibitions r held

we passed by so many restaurants and cafes all prettily done up
this place was amazing!
Gina said she saw how some stores weren’t there at all n they appeared fully refurnished after a week..things are done really fast in HKG
she brought me to this little tiny nestled behind rows of streetside hawker style stalls n it was sooo crowded!!
people would share tables n just tuck into their instant mee
so u can have a table with 6people who dont know each other to tuck into their food
(hkpeople LOVE INSTANT MEEE with eggs and luncheon meat) hahaa
Gina's says she loves this pork bun and the milk tea so yeaah i'll eat whatever she eats right
we were in SOhO and this place was lined with bars and restaurants it's amazing
we had to walk up the slope, nah thankfully we cld hitch a ride on the escalator n
we all had to keep to the right on the escalator
see everywhere else keeps to the right except singapore ..why ah?
so we went up and up and suddenly she said oh look at ur left

less than an hour and i was gonna sink my teeeth into freshly made krispy kremes

why is it that these designer houses never open such lavishly done up buildings in Sg?
maybe the people who can only shop designer are the same ol bunch of people who appear on tatler we're too tiny
but anyway we didnt even bother goin into the stores, we took the MTR
and i witnessed 2old people cursing at each other cos the old lady said the old man took her space. wha lau. it was loud n fierce.thankgdness we alighted first. yes i was tired cos i slept at 3 and woke up at430am
mongkok was not too bad : ) we shopped and walked and walked but the shops were filled with furry knits and whatnots after walkin 4 stories from end to end we were veryhungry and we tried cold noodles .
i bought a bag that was metallic greyish and a pair of skinny jeans for SGD 12~!
we ddint know how to tell auntie what we wanted so we just kept pointing to what ingredients we wanted it was a game of guess i picked sotong,crabmeat and corn
yeah she's dman happy she got to try her cold nooodles cos she never tried it before and we slurped it up real fast cos it waas ultra TASTY cold noodles. hahaa
she brought me to Langham Palace
n i saw a beeeeg pink heeel
this escalator was prolly like 3 times the length and height of SHaw's long escalator
i gripped onto the handrail for my dear life

tis was the fitting room at bread and butter i tried on a pair of skinny jeans and it was soo prettyy
i had to buy it it was on 40% discount.

mos burger just opened their first outlet

we sat outside al fresco enjoying the cool weather, we were surrounded by sch children in their uniforms they look damn japanese i wldnt be able to differentiate a hkg sch kid n a jap kid
they all sported short tiny ponytails/spermtails with bangs n mos burger fries and ice milk tea tasted different as well..not as nice as Sg's.

FIRST NIGHT IN HKG AND MY DINNER WAS INDIAN STYLE LAMBRACK

i know but the food there looked so good and this lamb thingy had flyers everywhere so i had to try it and it was TENDER AND YUMMY, daMn SHIOK.
i also had condensedmilk drizzled on toast bun YUMYUMYUM
i told gina we had to come back here n eat again but we didnt make it the next 2days hehe
After makan, we went to the Fringe to watch Rick Lau's one man cabaret
he was a fantastic actor and i had a good time laughin.
it was called "men in love"
straight men, gay men and how they perceive love it was really alot of energy
we didnt pay cos well gina is staff and im her silly friend from singaporehahaa so we sat on the steps right smack in the middle of the aisle
n we had drinks at the roof garden n i met the cute ticket booth dude and some other sound technician and all her office friends

so after drinks at the roof garden we headed to lan kwai fong to meet wayne! he's singaporean too and he's gina's and ang's friend.

for someone who drives everyday i mean i thought i did quite well.
haha yeah so i fell asleep and i had to go back, but gina played Grey's season 2 in her room and i was hookeed on it hahaa

we picked Tony Taylor up at the fringe and cabbed to Kowloon.
Tony Taylor is from Aussie and he was the director of Rick's show.
very nice dude and the taxi ride we talked about tech and random stuff but he was really fun.
this is mary knoll convent sch, i wish we had schs that looked like this and we can wear our uniforms and pose on the steps of grad day & everything just looks perfect
on the cab at kowloon, i saw many schools even Pris's exchange uni
so then i knew pris lived at kowloon n gina was at central and poor pris had to take the ferry or the mtr to central all the time.. no wonder she was so fed up.. in singapore she only had to walk to paragon but in hkg she had to go thru so much just to shop properly(hehe)

it was very cold n spooksville like.

we walked n walked n walked she wanted me to try steamboat but it was too packed n the waiting time was an hour so we shopped a lil n i bought a cute lil tiny bag from x:girl YAY
: ) hahaa they had the top i wanted to buy but it was only in white n purple
so we settled for some hk style dinnner

we were goin to see the lights of HK island!@! : )

this is the clock tower at TST side, they've knocked down the other clock tower across at HK island it made alot of people upset. better take a pic before they too, start thinkin of demolishing the tower on this side.

pretty much like Hollywood where there are stars on the floor with celebritie;s names
i dont know any so i was like hmm okay lets go now.
n we took the ferry back
n walked the happy bridge
n climbed the incredible slope
stopped to shop for while n i bought a really cute denim skirt @ Baby Jane by Cacharel
and then up the 54 stairs
n we were back at the fringe to contribute to the book remembr?

met wayne again at Kennedy town which is some really obscure place after that and we stayed for dirnks til late. when we returned to the room, we HAD MORE GREYS to watch and we watched till 6am
we had to wake up by10 the next morning cos we were travellin to Cityhall to grab DIM SUM

n plentiful of mogus(mushrooms)
the buildings were so metropolitan-like
finally had FOOOD!
was not too bad but i still think Singapore can fight withthem hehee
took the MTR to TimesSquare and shopped the entire 3 hours on our fullbellies
we even had time to visit the agnes b cafee : ) haha
eevrywhere was Chanel,Dior,Coach,Lv,rollsroyces,Prada gucci Miumiu,n the list goes on n go..
rushed back to TimeSq to buy KrispyKremes
i bought 3 dozens wished i bought more really. like not enough leh. my mom took one box which was meant to be extras and gave it to my NEIGHBOURS. sorry andy.
n we rushed back to the room to pack and headed straight for the airport express. Gin had dinner so i took the airport express myself to the airport
