it's FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!

went shoppin with yoda yesterday and
Yoda had 20% discount at topshop cos it was her bday mth, so i cld buy two dresses below $100, saved me $30 whoopee! : ) hahaa thanks babe!

we were at zara n i playfully put this strawhat on top of her while she was on the fone hehee

yesterday was fun i was with yoda and we met up with gina at bk cafe

yes everyone cant seem to live without their handphone nowdays haha

she was up till late the nightbefore rushin with her homework

but she was headin out to watch a show at the drama centre after n i was suppose to take her n simon out for bak kut teh

yoda n i hung out till late.

u wont believe what she told me, (HAILIN read!)
she has a younger brother who is 17 this year, so that;'s like 5 years younger n he has a school mate who could remember me from St Nick's.

so her brother asked her how come she cld remember me n she said

" when i was in pri 3, sarah picked up my waterbottle when i dropped it"

SO CUTE!!!!

hahahaa she made me sound like im some kinda hero. gdness the gd ol' days of secondary sch when the primary sch girls r like runnin to u, wanting to hold ur hand and they say "hi jie jie i want to be ur friend" or they'll write cute lil cards n drop it outside the mailbox of our classrooms.

n we talked about everything. basically yoda seen me transit from ugly boy-girl to girly girl haha : ) so i can talk to her about anything n everything n she loves to make fun of me.

everytime we go out, she'll confirm scoop some dirt on me and

i'll be so defenceless cos im just so stupid n gong to retaliate. hahaaa

i received a call from overseas and that made me so happpy ,

he talked to yoda as well n i' thought i'll never experience this kinda crazyness ever.

i found a mc dreamy. whee. hahaa
he took part in a BOotCamp and he was tellin me how he had to run sprints upslope and do push ups until he felt like puking. that;s plain crazy haha talked till my battery went flat and we studied till bk cafe was closed.

headed down to peninsula hotel to pick the guys up.

i expected gina n simon but guess who came along?

went to clarke quay for a walk : ) very touristy and went home to CRASH.

next morning

I was inspired to do the 4X10mins routine at the gym but FAIL lah.
group mate called to meet earlier so no choice...
we had to go down to the company to do more interviews n suss out more stuff, then it was lunch time..n u know how it is with lunch time..everyone HAS to eat at lunch time no matter what... so we had to go for lunch as well!: )

We went to anchorpoint for makan and i had nice pad thai

we sat next to this cute couple n check out his watch!

i was sooo excited

"hello uncle! lOOK we have the same watch"

"yess....the battery is very goood, lasted me for 3 years already:

"mine is just gold n urs in black..uncle ur watch is nice!"

"u like it? how much did u buy urs for?see watch is cheap and good!"

uncle spoke excellent english and immediately i thought of my grandpa.
my grandpa used to dote on me sooo much.i'll have nice fish soup/all sorts of yummy food n he even gave me a pet rabbit.

i was the last person to feed him porridge. tiny ol me at the age of 4. he was lyin on my bed after bein discharged from the hospital cos he suffered from lung cancer.

he was tall, thin and very dark cos he use to have a fish farm at sembawang and he loved the outdoors.

as i was feeding him, he suddenly told me to call my mom and he was in pain, i dont know why but i started crying n i ran out to look for my mommy who was in the kitchen. the entire family of 7 daughters n 2 sons were in the living room n they pushed me out of the room and told me to stay outside with the rest of my cousins.

this was at novena and i remembered how everyone sat around him and watched him take his last breath.

at that age, i had no idea what death was. i knew he was gone but that was it. i didnt understand how the future was gonna be like. i was sad. but not for too long.

every few mths, we'll visit his little box that has his ashes at the temple, grandma already has one next to him.

seeing this uncle made me think of him n my grandma.
i know this isnt typical friday post but yeah.. it's nice to have a grandfather in the family. it's like u see the entire family history thru him.

so yeah : )

im gonna see my grandma tmrw wheee

i have alot of things on my mind now. gotta sort them all out. : )
