before i left for LA, mom told dad in her own words :" u very long never buy me handbag"
n i think my dad;s heart wrunged n felt a lil bad
so he told me he wanted to buy mom a nice expensive bag , i took him to LV and then chanel and the whole line of shops down the row
n he was like "oh my gdness, i never knew women's handbags were THAT expensive"
so we saw a bag at burberry's ...this pure white quilted hobo and it looked mummy enough & not THAT expensive
we thought gucci wld be a gd place as well and we saw a white guccissima princy tote
so that was the plan gucci or burbs
next day, lunched with parents. we walked around paragon cos my mom said she wanted to look at bags( so i brought her to gucci and showed her the few bags we wanted to get for her n she kept shakin her head ) until we brought her to burb's
the salesman took the bag down upon my request and this chinese dude sprang from one corner or the shop to our side and said " mrs susilo, it's been so long since u came to our store"
i looked at him quizzically n he said " did i get her name wrong?"
" i think u've mistaken her for someone else"
i guess with mom's big hair it's not difficult to look like a mrs susilo
n my mom didnt want to leave the store until my dad sauntered in
but my dad didnt offer to buy the bag for mom even though she said " oh it's a very nice bag"
so we left to buy nail polish at metro and my dad went off the radar
"where's ur dad?"
"toilet"
so we were lookin at shoes and she was still tellin me maybe she shld get the bag since it's slightly over 1k... so u know the layout of the shoes dept in metro is like a u-shape..so after she went full cirle, my dad appeared from the escalator n my mom was like "????!??" n when she saw the bag she SQUEALED in delight said " oH THANK U DARLING"
n abandoned my hand to hold his hand...
hehehe
she was so happy...while shoppin for nail polish she sudden;y turned n kissed my dadddy in front of all the salesgirls.. wha so hero so lomantic my hair nearly froze at its ends...
so that was tuesday and my mom was HAPPY n my dad was HAPPY cos mom was HAPPY and i was HAPPY cos both of them were HAPPY
WEd night: dinner with both of them at the equinox, it was their first time at the equinox after compass rose and gina's mommy arranged windows seats and a cake for them after our meal .
they were so touched, my dad said " can we bring the cake home, i want to keep the chocolate bit"
the equinox peeps snapped 2 polaroids for us and we were done
headed down to DIVINE society at the black goth building called Parkview Square diagonal of BUgis.
n the place was very renaissance-like.
the winebottles were stored in a column , the more expensive it was the higher it was stacked.
n i guess u're suppose to order a bottle n an angel in cheesey green tutu and sequinned tube wld fly up via cable n get it for u
mom n dad liked the music.
i felt a weee bit extra
picked gina up from Pris's hme n we went home : )
Thursday, the girls came over for dinner and we attacked this huge platter of chilli crabs with man tou, roasted pork, braised duck wings n nice yummy soup all to ourselves. if i took a video it wld have been 3 gluttons eating non stop , we barely talked to each other haha : ) mom prepared it specially for pris, she went to the market in the mornin just to cook for her...
after dinner we could hardly walk or talk really.
it was arnd 9:15 n pris said "let's go shopping"
so i was like hmmm...:okay lets go vivo NOW the shops close at 10"
luckily pris had the car cos my car was at the workshop and we went shoppinn
ended up at the roof garden n pris wanted to go to e-zone
played HOCKEY with gina and daytona , got a video of both of them.. pris was like " hehehee ahh i cant play this!!!" and gina's face was so "focused" .her competitive streak in her prevailed in all the daytona games she played that night haha.
we were all hooked to the silly "spot the difference game" .around 11ish, we had to leave n it
was nice being driven home by pris, i fell asleep at the back of her car ......
Friday's plan was cafe del mar to tanny tan tan
poor gina wasn't feelin too good so pris decided to call it off but pris decided to go again so she picked me up from FEP and we were thereeeeee
i was so happpy cos it was my 1st time there in the day n i never knew the rattan seats were fushia n cyan blue!?!
weather was PURFECTO MONDO : )

hasn't changed one bit at all : ) things were great we were talkin n it was so random cos the night before we were flippin thru our yearbooks and we saw pehon in his floppyhair ICKS hahaa : )n i see him the next day ...i told my mom and she was like "haha ur firssst lurrrrvee" GOOSEBUMPS ATTACK.but im still glad we can talk n be friends now : )
went back to our bed n pris pulled out her biz law text .nerd or what?!?!
so i was left to just flip around n tan but i didnt get any tanner AT ALL
went home n pris had to continue her busy schedule after pickin gina n droppin us both at my place. mom cooked porridge for gina was sick n passed me the germs as well haha : )its okay.it's called lurve babes.
went off clubhoppin with pris n johan :P met leo,his friend whohad dracula teeth at bar fly and zouk after the 2 stupid doorbitches were being mean at butter. like fuckin bitchy. i didnt even wanna go in even though i had a card.put offish. pris went in to meet the dudes. we had fun. we always do.johan pulled the most amazing stunt and we shall do that every friday now ; )hehehe
saturday was a lousy day spent doin hrm project from 10-9pm, and gina came over AGAin for dinner.whoohoo 3 nights in a row and
we went off to cafe del mar cos pete tong was playin n Ang's friends were there since 5ish.
: ) my throat hurt so bad but it was okaay, pete tong played at around 1230ish and the music was gettin better but the volume was too soft. i mean whats the point of SENTOSA havin cafe del mar which plays 24hrs from fri to sun in front of a BEACH RESORT?! HUH hUH HUH?!???!?!

my entire sunday was in the doldrums cos i had to finish up the stupid project frm 11-1030pm n i sent pris off at 5 with gina. : ) hope u had fun pris!
beneath all the happy moments, there were also scary moments. i dont know what to say but it was a very bad lesson learnt.
