after a looooong day in school

we went down to devonshire road to have a late dinner at Bar Stop.

this was after much contemplation as we were hungry and well ...i didnt feel like spending too much on food as well.

so i thought Bar Stop sold mini burgers at 6 for $10 which seemed pretty reasonable as compared to like Ice Cold/No.5's miniburgers that were priced at 3 for $18

but when the mini burgers came, i couldnt help but laugh at my futile attempt to be thrifty

they were like smaller than char siew paos,maybe the size of sotong balls, no wonder they're six for $10. they shouldnt even be called burgers.Mini kebabs-- maybe can still make the cut. : ) but for such tiny morsels, they didnt taste so bad.just nice to fill the tummy but sadly, not the eyes.

i also had prawn batter with wasabimayo. wasabi mayo is like safe.fusiony but safe. soft shell crab with wasabimayo always pop into mind.next time in my household, wasabi mayo wld be a must have for all fried food. : P

Bar stop was cosy, i liked it alot.I already know who to bring the next trip

next to Barstop was the quaint and authentic japanese restaurant:Yoshida: which reminded me of first dates.

First dates are so illusive. they are like so raw so awkward and yet first dates are the sweetest things cos everyone bothers to put in effort and try to impress. i remember all my first dates despite the outcomes.hehehe.OKAY story of my life.
