obviously inspired to wear my sweater to sleep after watching JUNO last night. it was awesome. pretty much a teen flick about teenage pregnancy wth a crazy soundtrack ,an exception of most american teen flicks,ellen page has a face of an angel and also has vocabulary maximus. the dialogue was MINDblowing,downright hilarious i think i can watch it again just so that i can sound clever and sarcastic as her.i love juno.


on adopting kids:
Juno: You shoulda gone to China. You know, 'cause I hear they give away babies like free iPods. You know they pretty much just put them in those t-shirt guns and shoot them out at sporting events.

on comin home late:
Vanessa: Your parents are probably wondering where you are.
Juno: Nah. I mean I'm already pregnant so what other kind of shenanigans can I get into?

to her bestfriend/boyfriend:
Juno: You're like... the coolest person I've ever met and you don't even have to try
Paulie: I try really hard actually.

chinese new year has beeen really quite awesome. im so happy to be home and be part of all the festivities.first day was spent at home and mom had to whip up dishes non stop throughout the night, a record of: 28 cups of rice and 3 kilos of noodles. that is quite the shizzz.dan was a real sweetie to be part of the whole gathering, winning the hearts of many aunties who cant stop tellin me how gorgeous he is(and this continued on the following day).its really nice to see my cousins and see how everyone has changed over the years. how we suddenly see ourselves migrating to the "adults" table while the younger ones watch teevee and snack on tarts.

we managed to get away from all that entertaining much later at night and house-visited a friend's place and i thought being under the stars with the night breeze blowing into our faces was probably one of the most romantic stuff we've ever done together.(hehe)

i loved lunch at gina's. her family is such an animated bunch. we talked about retro tea parties, pineapples with cocktail sausages stuffed all over it, her grandmother who loves WWE and wrestling idols, 70s pop icons, beatles and elvis,ellen Degeneres,i had sooo much fun. after lunch, it was off to dan's place and we played scrabbled and i pretty much sucked at it cos i had nonstop of Es and Is and Vs and Zs.i felt bad for havin to leave early cos i had to join my parents again...

so yeah, this cny has been greaat. : ) and tonight is one last night of merrymaking at my place before we degenerate into the sickening school weeek. have fun!
